Submission Guidelines for Custom Modello Designs
We can design and create Modellos from almost any type of artwork. We prefer to receive a detailed sketch from the customer, a photograph or clean, black and white line art to vectorize and prepare for a Modello.
Providing us with the cleanest, most detailed and precise artwork possible will allow us to create a better finished product and be more efficient in creating your design.
MOST IDEAL FORMATS
• Adobe Illustrator files (up to version 10.0)
• EPS files
This would be artwork that has already been created as vector art and would be (almost) ready to cut. Some artwork that has been created for signage and logos may be available to you in this format.
Most art will probably not be available to you in this format, so please read below:
EMAILING SCANNED ARTWORK
This is the preferred way for us to receive your artwork. If you are scanning artwork, scan at a resolution of 300 dpi at 100% of actual size and save as a JPEG file. If you do not have artwork to scan and save in this format, please submit whatever files you have (e.g. Bitmap, JPEG, TIFF) and we can discuss the steps necessary for creating your custom Modello.
Send the art as an attached file to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please include your complete contact information in the email as well as a detailed description of your project and specifications.
If you wish to mail your artwork, the best submission would be a clean, black and white camera-ready print or line drawing or the most original version of the proposed art. Please mail to:

Unfortunately, we cannot work from faxed artwork. However, you can fax art to receive a ballpark estimate of Custom Design Charges for a particular design. You will still need to provide clean artwork by mail or scanned email.

Please include all contact information and project descriptions as described above.
ONCE WE RECEIVE YOUR ARTWORK
Upon receiving your artwork and information, we will communicate with you to further assess your specific needs and discuss your project. Prior to moving forward, a 50% deposit on the estimated Custom Design Charges is required to begin work on your custom project.
