SoSlow™ Super Extender is an additive that greatly slows the drying time of water-based finishing products. This allows finishers and decorative artists to maximize control of open time to create a broad range of effects over a desired period of time.
This product is a very effective thinner and retardant for color concentration products and all color mixtures.
The composition helps separate the color distribution resulting in a very smooth, slow drying color coat, especially useful for cabinets and furniture refinishing. Under special circumstances, it can be used alone as a glazing medium for the ultimate slow drying glaze.
This is a translucent, low-VOC product with excellent workability over porous substrates. It can be mixed at a rate of 50% by volume into Stani & Seal™ to make a liquid stain that is easy to manage on large surfaces or added to metallic pains at a rate of 10% by volume for ease of application on large surfaces in hot or warm conditions.
